It is our great pleasure to announce the second graduate course of the Materials-Driven Regeneration (MDR) Gravitation program. The course is geared towards PostDocs and PhD students working on MDR- or related projects and are from an MDR-affiliated institute. It will provide an excellent opportunity for our early-stage researchers to get exposed to research performed within the three main MDR institutions, and special seminars and career advice (academic and non-academic) sessions will be organized for our more senior researchers. Above all, we offer hands-on workshops in different areas (image processing, mechanical testing, computational modelling etc.)
The preliminary program can be found here: https://www.aanmelder.nl/141231/part_program
After you registered, a follow-up email will be sent in March to sign up for specific hands-on workshops and sessions that will be offered in parallel.
The course will take place over three installments of 1.5 day each in Eindhoven, Utrecht and Maastricht, respectively:
- Regenerative Medicine Center Utrecht 18 – 19 April 2023
- *MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine (Maastricht) 22 – 23 May 2023
- Institute for Complex Molecular Systems (Eindhoven) 8 – 9 June 2023
*Please note this course is offered prior to the MDR Annual meeting, which will be hosted in Thorn, so you will be able to join both
This course is offered for free to all MDR young scientists. We want to make clear that the course is mandatory for all MDR researchers. If you are not able to join, please sent an email to email@example.com (supervisor in CC) with your explanation.
For researchers that are not part of program we ask for a contribution of 100 EUR. This fee will cover the course, lunches and dinner, and a social program.
Attendance certificates will be provided. The registration for the event is now open and will close on February 28th, 2023. The course has a limited space for participants, so make sure you register on time. Details and the registration link can be found here: https://www.aanmelder.nl/141231
Please forward this message to your PhD students and PostDocs in your institute, we look forward welcoming them to the MDR Graduate Course!
