Intimate Implant – MDR project in the Dutch Design Week 2023

Manon van Daal and MDR researcher Anne-Floor de Kanter will be part of the Dutch Design Week 2023 with their art project Intimate Implant.

Together with designer Bertrand Burgers they invite a broad public to reflect on the implications of developments in Regenerative Medicine on the relationship with our bodies.

With Intimate Implant they explore the questions: What is it like to live intimately with a biodegradable (regenerative) implant in our bodies? And how do we want to shape the future of coexisting with intimate technologies?
