Currently 3 positions open at MDR

At the moment we have 3 positions open within the MDR consortium.

2 PhD positions and 1 Postdoc position:

PhD on Engineering bone-mimicking grafts

Are you eager to develop methods to produce synthetic bone implants in multidisciplinary environment?

The team of Miguel Castilho is looking for a PhD student to challenge traditional approaches to synthetic bone implants fabrication. You will work with advanced research in fabrication and bone bioengineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. We of course partner up with MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine and Regenerative Medicine Utrecht center.

TU/e  vacancies – PhD student on Engineering bone-mimicking grafts

PhD Position MERLN | Computational modeling of fibrotic scarring

The department of Cell Biology-Inspired Tissue Engineering (cBITE) at the MERLN Institute for Technology-inspired Regenerative Medicine at Maastricht University in the Netherlands invites applications for a PhD position. The PhD Candidate will perform cutting-edge research in computational modeling methods applied to regenerative medicine and more specifically, to (fibrotic) tissue remodeling processes.

Academic Transfer – PhD student Computational modeling of fibrotic scarring

PostDoc Position MERLN | From nano to micro & from in vitro to in silico: Linking adhesion ligand patterns to cell function

The MERLN Institute for Technology-inspired Regenerative Medicine at Maastricht University in the Netherlands invites applications for a  postdoc (PD) position. The researcher will perform a cutting-edge interdisciplinary research project to explore the relation between nanoscale ligand organization (i.e. composition and spatial distribution) and microscale cell response under the joint supervision of dr. A. Carlier (expertise in in silico modeling) and dr. S. Van Rijt (expertise in nanoparticle synthesis and characterization). Work performed will include nanoparticle synthesis and characterization, in vitro cell culture, imaging and computational modeling.

Academic Transfer – PostDoc position From nano to micro & from in vitro to in silico
