Dr. Anthal Smits awarded with ERC starting grant

A big congratulations to MDR researcher Anthal Smits from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) for receiving the European Research Council (ERC) Starting grant of 1.5 million euros.

Anthal will use this money to study the immune system response to bioresorbable synthetic biomaterials. Read more about it on the TU/e webpage.
